Devotional
I had a co-worker once say to me, that he thought God would not forgive him for the things he had done. Paul tells us, even though he was the chief of sinners, he obtained mercy. Why? So that people would see that you don't have to be perfect to come to Jesus. It doesn't matter where you have been, or what you have done. The moment you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your sins are forgiven.

Scripture Reference
1st Timothy 1:16
However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

Action Point

You don't have to be perfect to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Come just as you are. No sin is so great that you can't be forgiven. Paul had people killed, and persecuted Jesus, and the church. Let Paul be an example of what God can do for you through the precious blood of Jesus.
