Devotional
Have you ever been discouraged when ministering to others? Often times the rewards are not seen right away. Our job is to do God's will, and leave the results up to Him. God is always faithful to reward us in the end.
 
Scripture Reference
Hebrews 13:35-36
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
 
Action Point
When we are faithful, God will deliver. We need to look forward to the day when we hear the Master say "Well done thy good and faithful servant."

Devotional
I have to admit that I am a sinner. I sin every day. It may not be a big sin in the worlds eyes, but to God there is no difference between a big, and a small sin. No matter how He looks at it, it is still sin. The fact is, we all are sinners. The question is, have you received forgiveness?
 
Scripture Reference
1st John 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
 
Action Point
Are you a sinner? If you are, then you need to receive forgiveness. One small sin can keep you out of heaven. The only way to heaven is through Jesus. Receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and your sins are forgiven.

I JUST NEED PRAYER TO HAVE FAITH AND KNOW THAT GOD IS GOING TO BLESS ME.   I JUST HAVE TO STAYED PRAYED UP, HAVE FAITH AND CONTINUE TO READ HIS WORD.    GOING THROUGH A BIG STORM.  MY FLESH GETS WEAK SOMETIMES ON BELIEVING THAT THERE IS SOMETHING GOOD FOR ME OUT THERE.   I REQUEST PRAYER FOR GOD GUIDANCE.

2. Prayer request submited by Nora

My best friend in the whole world is back in the hospital she was released last Tuesday.  Her legs are getting much worse and the Doctors cannot figure out what is wrong with her.  My friends name is Melissa Jackson.  She is a beautiful and wonderful young lady that has followed our Lord and lived his words for many years.  Please pray that the Doctors can find out what is wrong with her health.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Devotional
It has always amazed me as to how God works. You can have three different people doing three different parts of the service, and yet when the Holly Spirit is working, they all come together in perfect harmony. It has nothing to do with what our will is. It all works together for His good pleasure.
 
 
Scripture Reference
Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
 
Action Point
Let the Holly Spirit lead you. If you listen to that still small voice, you will never go astray. God knows what He is doing. Let Him take control.

Devotional
Jesus, in the Sermon On The Mount, talks about having a positive attitude. Our outlook on life has a lot to do with what we say and do. Have you ever watched a person with a positive attitude walk? There is a bounce in their step. If you're happy and you know it clap your hands, stomp your feet, and say AMEN!

Matthew 6:22
"The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
 
Action Point
Make it a point today to let your Joy show. Don't be afraid to smile and brighten another persons day. Not only will it change your outlook on life, but it can change others as well. Smile, it will improve your face value.

Devotional
So many times we try to face problems, and trials on our own. We use the weapons of our age. We use money, possessions, and worldly wisdom. What we really need to do is call on the name of the Lord.
 
Scripture Reference
1st Samuel 17:45
Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
 
Action Point
Face your situations with God in front. With Him, the battle is already won. You can face the giants in your life with confidence.

Devotional
The only way that we can stand before God, is if we are without sin. A Holy God can not look upon Sin. When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, our sins are covered by the blood of Jesus. When we go before God, He sees Jesus who was without sin. We are washed white as snow by the blood of the Lamb.
 
Scripture Reference
Acts 3:19
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
 
Action Point
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? There is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus. All you have to do is receive Him as your Lord and Savior. It's not about what you do. It's about what has been done.

Devotional
We are all called to be Christ's ambassadors. Everything that we say, and do is a reflection on Jesus. We are often times the only picture of Christ that people see. When people look at you, what do they see?
 
Scripture Reference
2nd Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
 
Action Point
Let people see Jesus in you. As a Christian we are ambassadors. The way we act and what we say should be a representation of Jesus.

Devotional
I have to admit that I am my worst critic. I always find fault in the things that I do, even when no one else notices. If I compare myself with myself, then there is nothing to guage myself by. I need to compare myself with Jesus, and strive to be more like Him each day.
 
Scripture Reference
2nd Corinthians 10:12
For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
 
Action Point
Use Jesus as your bench mark. Do not copare yourself with others. Do not be your own worst critic. We have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. Discover who you are in Christ Jesus, then seek to be more like Him.

Devotional
I think we all have had times when we feel that the devil is attacking us on every front. Do you know how to fight the devil? When the devil attacks, all we need to do is call on the Lord, and the devil will flee from you.
 
Scripture Reference
James 4:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
 
Action Point
Prayer is the strongest weapon we have against the devil. Keep prayed up. When our prayer life is weak, then so are our defences. When our prayer life is strong, the devil can't defeat us. Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10)
