Our mind is often times the first place the devil will attack. We need to guard our minds with the faith that we have in Jesus Christ. Be ready for battle at all times. Rest your hope fully in His grace.
Scripture Reference
1st Peter 1:13
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Action Point
When the devil attacks, we need to be ready. Know who you are in Jesus Christ. Remember that light will always triumph over darkness.

So many times we dwell in the past. We look at who we were, and the things that have happened to us. We can't let our past dictate our future. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Scripture Reference
Philippians 3:13
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
Action Point
We can't change the past, so look towards the future. Be all that God has created you to be. If you dwell in the past, you will be history. If you look towards the future, the possibilities are endless.

So many times, we go from one project, or job to the next, and never stop to rejoice in what we have accomplished. If we don't rejoice, it just becomes work. If we take time to celebrate, it becomes a blessing.
Scripture Reference
Deuteronomy 12:7
"And there you shall eat before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice in all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
Action Point
Take time to celebrate in all that you do. Take time to reward those around you when the accomplish a task. You will be blessed, and the other person will receive a blessing.

Even in the Old Testament we see the life giving blood of Jesus. The apostle Paul in Romans 7:18 says "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells;." Through the flesh, we are dead. It is only by the blood of Jesus, that we as believers have eternal life.
Scripture Reference
Leviticus 17:11
'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.'
Action Point
It is a life or death decision. Choose Jesus, and you will have eternal life. Choose any other way, and it will lead to death.

I don't know about you, but I fall short of the glory of God every day. I don't deserve His love, but the fact is, that God loves us uncoditionally, and there is nothing that can seperate us from His love. We are bound by the blood of Jesus.
Scripture Reference
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Action Point
Be secure in His love. There is no stronger bond, then the blood of Jesus. He loves us unconditionally. Even when we don't always love Him as we should, He loves us.

Just like Moses, we need to come along side our church leaders, and help bear the load. The success of the church, is dependent on those who come along side and support the leaders. They can't do it all on there own. They need you to lift them up, and to encourage them.
Scripture Reference
Exodus 17:11-12
And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Action Point
Tell your pastors and ministers how much they are loved and appreciated. Lift them up this week as you worship.

Thanks to Calvary, I don't do the things I used to do. My life was changed completely. One moment I was a lost sinner, and the next moment I was a child of God. What made the difference? It was the blood that was shed on Calvary. The blood of Jesus that washed away my sins.
Scripture Reference
Colossians 1:13-14
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Action Point
Have you been conveyed into His kingdom? Has your life been completely changed? It is only through the blood of Jesus, that we can enter into His presence. You can go from sinner to saint in an instant. Receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior today.

As with many things in life, you get out of something what you put in to it. If you study for a test, you will likely get a good grade. If you don't pick up the book, you will most likely fail. In the same way, when you give freely of your time, talents, and finances to the work of God, you will reap bountifully.
Scripture Reference
2nd Corinthians 9:6
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
Action Point
When you give of your time, talents, and finances to the work of God, you will receive a blessing. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing the smile on someones face when you have been a blessing to them. Be a blessing to someone today.

We all need to work together as ministers of the Gospel. We do not all have the same talents, and abilities. One may preach, and another may teach. In the end, we are just a vessel, that God is using.
Scripture Reference
1st Corinthians 3:6-7
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
Action Point
Use your abilities for the Lord. We all have a part in bringing souls to Christ. Just remember that in the end, God is the one who gives the increase. I can not save a person. I can only lead them to Jesus, but I can't force them to receive Him.

Have you ever felt that God was not as close as He once was with you? The fact is, God has not moved. Often times our actions lead us away from God. When we feel that way, we need to repent. Turn away from what is leading us away, and turn towards God.
Scripture Reference
James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Action Point
The closer you are to God, the closer He will be to you. It is up to us to move towards Him. Leave the things that draw you away from God's presence, and draw near to Him.
