Devotional
The last question in this series is "Why do we worship." There are many reasons to worship, but probably the greatest reason is because of what God has done for us. He sent His only begotten son to die in our place.
Scripture Reference
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Action Point
Take time today, and let God know how thankful you are for His love for you. Worship Him because He is worthy of our praise, and adoration. He created us, He loves us, and He saved us, even when we were still sinners.

The fourth question in this series is "Where are we to worship." If we only worship Him inside the church building, then we are not worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. We can be worshiping Him going down the street in our car, or in a room at home by ourselves. We can even worship Him in a crowded room.
Scripture Reference
John 4:21
Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Action Point
Worship Him wherever you are. You don't have to be in a sanctuary, or a building to worship God. You don't have to be in a certain city, or town. You can worship Him right where you are.

The third question in this series is "When are we to worship." Some say Sunday, while others say Saturday. The fact is, we are to worship the Lord at all times, and in all we do. Worship is more than just an hour a week.
Scripture Reference
Psalm 34:1
I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Action Point
Are you just worshiping Him for an hour once a week, or are you worshiping Him at work, and at home? We are to worship Him at all times. Pray to Him before you get out of bed in the morning. Praise Him at work. Read your Bible, and tell others about Jesus. It is all part of worshiping Him.

The second question in this series is "What is worship." Many people think that going to church is worship. It is an act of worship, but going to church in it self is not worship. Worship is loving God with everything you have, and are.
Scripture Reference
Matthew 22:37
Jesus said to him, " 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
Action Point
Have you been worshiping God, or just going through the motions? We need to be like the football fans when it comes to worship. There should be no question of who's team we are on, and we should be exited about telling others. Talk about God with the same zeal that you talk about the big game.

Devotional
In school, we always asked the 5 questions. Who, What, When Where and Why. The first question is Who! Who are we to worship. It is not me, it is not your pastor, and it is not your favorite football player. We are to worship the Lord, our God, and Him only.
Scripture Reference
Psalm 95:6
Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
Action Point
Who are you worshiping? Are you worshiping God? Often times we go into worship with other people, and things on our minds. When we worship, the focus should be on only Him.

Devotional
When is the last time you humbled yourself, and poured your heart out to God? It is probably one of the most powerful and rewarding forms of worship there is. Adore, confide, and love Him with a humble heart.
Scripture Reference
Psalm 10:17
LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear,
Action Point
God is seeking an intimate relationship with you. Before you go to the Lord in prayer, humble yourself. Seek those times when you can be alone with only Him.

Devotional
If someone was to write a book about you, what would it say? Would your life be a living example of God's love? Our lives should be an epistle that people can read. They should be able to see Jesus living in you.
Scripture Reference
2nd Corinthians 3:2
You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
Action Point
Let your life be an open book that people can read. As the pages are written, fill them with the love that you have for your Lord and Savior. Show that love towards others you meet. Be a living example that others can read.

The Holy Spirit is in all believers. In times when you don't know what to say, listen to the Holy Spirit. He will bring scriptures to your remembrance. He will give you the words to say. Let the Holy Spirit lead, guide, and direct you in all that you do.
Scripture Reference
John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Action Point
Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. When you don't know what to say, He will put the words in your mouth. He will speak through you.

Devotional
Often times churches forget to minister outside their doors. God gave us a command to go. We are to bring the gospel to the world. We are not to wait for them to come to us.
Scripture Reference
Matthew 28:19
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Action Point
Take the church to the world. It starts with your family, and your friends. Share the gospel of Jesus with people you meet. The church is not a building. Think outside the box.

Devotional
We can never underestimate the power of love. We can do all sorts of things to help other people. We can give of ourselves, but if we do not have love, then all we have done is worth nothing. When you add love, it has immeasurable value.
Scripture Reference
1st Corinthians 13:3
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Action Point
Everything that we do should be done in love. If we do it for any other reason, then we do not have the right motives. Our actions are then worthless, and will profit us nothing.
